The
kooples has new projects … The brand will have in spring 2012 a new sister
called “The Kooples Sport”.
More
than a new line, it will be a new independent brand. Keeping the red line of
couple’s cloakroom, the brand will target the sportswear chic segment.
It
will be a good way to complete the tailoring city offer that –The kooples is
currently targeting. It will have casual items, with preppy and vintage touch.
It’s responding to a demand of polo shirts, or improved jogging coming from new
customers. So in spring summer 2012, they will offer blasers, leggings,
sweatshirts, polo shirts, T-shirts and cardigans, declined in wider and
brighter colour range than the kooples.
Contrary
to its sister, The Kooples sport will not claim British inspiration but more US
inspiration, coming from east cost.
This
new brand will have its own distribution channel, even if a small selectio of
the brand will also be available in the Kooples stores. The brand hopes she
could open 4 stores in Paris as well as in London, where the launching will be
at the same time. Some corners are also planned in department stores, and a
eboutique will be created.
